1) Who do I contact regarding applications?

2) Do I need to apply for the Master's degree first?
No - If you are interested in applying to the Ph.D. program, we DO NOT require you to have a Master's degree first.

3) Do I need to identify an advisor/mentor prior to the application process?
No - Students accepted into the Ph.D. program begin a series of three rotations, each lasting one semester. The rotations allow the students to choose a faculty member each of the three semesters and become familiar with research conducted in his/her laboratory. The student at the end of the year will then choose a mentor under which to research.

4) Can I fax my GRE and TOEFL scores?
If you would like to fax an unofficial copy of your scores until the official ones are released, you may do so; however, to be accepted into the program, we must have your OFFICIAL scores on file.

5) What is the department code for GRE and TOEFL score submission?
Our department code is R6356 .

6) Is a copy of my transcript efficient?
If you would like to send an unofficial copy of your transcript until the official one is mailed to us, you may do so; however, to be accepted into the program we must have an OFFICIAL copy on file.

7) Is there an application fee?
No - There is no application fee.

8) Where can I find the application materials?
The application materials can be found under "Graduate Program" or by clicking Application Materials.

9) How do I establish residency in Louisiana?
